I think we need to discuss this a bit more as I would be concerned this could potentially break end users?
Also there is a PPA for the Ubuntu builds which would be preferable?

The PPA is available I think for 22.04 and 24.04. The reason I went with the build-from-source method for everything was so we were consistent across all distributions. |

The dockerfile changes will add python 3.14 to each platform-build-base
This is currently a work in progress. The .github/workflow file changes with the vars.DOCKER_USERNAME is something we might want to keep. Using secrets.DOCKER_USERNAME won't work properly for doing pushes up to dockerhub. Allows me to run the workflow file on push over on my repo.
