PetrichorSage ingests real-time soil moisture readings, hyper-local weather feeds, and grave plot subsidence data to automatically generate actionable work orders for groundskeeping crews. It monitors turf health at the individual section level, flags burial plots at risk of surface collapse following heavy rain events, and produces the exact regulatory reports that municipal cemeteries are required to submit annually and have exactly zero tooling to generate. This software exists because someone's uncle was managing a 40-acre cemetery out of a spiral notebook and that felt, to me, like a moral failing on the industry's part.

PetrichorSage is built as a set of loosely coupled microservices deployed on AWS ECS — sensor ingestion, work order generation, subsidence modeling, and report rendering are all isolated and independently scalable. The subsidence risk engine runs a custom-trained gradient boosting model that gets retrained weekly against accumulated sensor history. MongoDB handles all transactional work order state because the flexible document model was the right call for variable plot metadata and I will not be taking questions on this. A Redis layer provides long-term archival storage for regulatory audit trails, which absolutely works and has been running in production for eight months without issue.
